Joseph Brant Museum and Ireland House at Oakridge Farm are two of Burlington's most exciting learning environments. Both sites represent the history of Burlington in unique and exciting settings. The museums invite visitors to step back in time and enjoy a peek at life in early Burlington. Enthusiastic staff help visitors to discover history and imagine life as it was over

Special Events & Exhibits
Joseph Brant Museum and Ireland House at Oakridge Farm hold a variety of special events and exhibits during the year which celebrate our heritage. Some of the exciting events which we have planned for the whole family include Strawberry Social, Applefest Fall Fair, Halloween Haunt and a Victorian-themed Christmas.

Educational Programs & Youth Programs
The aim of the Museums of Burlington is to provide a fun and educational experience for participants within curriculum and badge guidelines. Each program can be customized to meet specific requirements. Outreach kits are not available in 2008.

Behind the Scenes: Genealogy and Artifact & Archival Collections
Joseph Brant Museum and Ireland House at Oakridge Farm have very diverse artifact collections. Joseph Brant Museum collects items pertaining to Joseph Brant the man and the community of Burlington, and has an extensive costume and costume accessories collection. Ireland House at Oakridge Farm displays items belonging to the Ireland family, who lived in the house for 150 years, and also, to interpret rural history.
