115. James Clifford Ireland (2) was born on 31 Dec 1909 in Winlaw, Saskatchewan, Canada.(81) He resided McGregor, Manitoba in 1928 in McGregor, Manitoba, Canada. When Cliff was 12 years old his father passed away. He worked for Delmer and Earl Burke to help his mother raise her family of 8. In 1925 he moved to Carievale with his Mother and family (living in the John Finkle house). He did odd jobs to help out financially.

On June 2, 1928 he married Ethel Lillian Lynons born February 28, 1911, at Roland, Manitoba. Ethel was the 3rd child born to Alex (1878-1952) and Ethel (1880-1928) Lyons. Ethel came to Carievale as a young girl and took most of her schooling in Carievale. After Cliff and Ethel were married they lived in an up stairs room at Grandma Irelands (John Finkle house). Cliff worked for Carievale Construction helping to build Hwy's 8 and 18. Lorraine and Murray were born while living in Carievale. In 1933 they moved to the Beach Place (Rollie Kerr's). In 1934 they moved to the Joe Darroch farm in Elmore. A short time later they moved to the Wes Burke farm, for several years each fall Dad would go road building with George France (his brother-in-law) near Moosomin and Rocanville. During these years in Elmore, Dad found time to play ball. Dad was pitcher and Uncle Jack played 3rd base for the Elmore team. They played in a league.

While still living in Elmore Barbara was born. In the spring of 1941, Cliff purchased the Ed Moore farm - S1/2-23-1-32 and moved his family to the Fife District. Larry was born shortly after the move. They boarded school teachers who taught at Fife. Another son, Bill, was born.

They carried on the farming operation until Cliff passed away on May 1, 1968 at the age of 59 years. Ethel moved to Carievale and janitored the Rest Room till she moved to a low-rentla unit in Carnduff in 1974. In 1980, Ethel moved to a suite at Sunset Haven. After quite a lengthy illness Ethel passed away May 12, 1980 at teh age of 69 years.

He was married to Ethel L. Lyons (daughter of Alex Lyons and Ethel ???????) on 2 Jun 1928 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. (81) Ethel L. Lyons (2) was born on 28 Feb 1911 in Roland, Manitoba, Canada. (81) She died on 12 May 1980.(81) She was buried.(81) Workman Cemetery. She resided Carievale, Saskatewan, Canada in Carievale, Saskatchewan, Canada. (81) James Clifford Ireland and Ethel L. Lyons had the following children:
