On Canada Day, Thursday July 1st, Joseph Brant Museum & Caffe Demetre in Burlington will be bringing together everyone's favourite treat of fresh strawberries and delicious vanilla ice cream ~ this year the supreme ice cream of Caffe Demetre!

Celebrating Canada Day with Joseph Brant Museum promises sensational fun! Visitors can take part in games, festive crafts, activities and museum tours!

There will be special performances and live entertainment; including “Sean the Leprechaun” who will be busking and pulling out his lucky tricks while entertaining kids of all ages with balloon animals. Also featured will be fair style games and activities in Spencer Smith Park, historically costumed interpreters, the famous trifles & treasures market and so much more!

Admission is free!

The Canada Day Strawberry Social Celebration: A festive annual event is held every July 1st at Joseph Brant Museum.  Celebrating with the Museums of Burlington gives Burlington residents the opportunity to celebrate their country and community heritage while enjoying gourmet ice cream with fresh strawberries, the event’s specialty refreshment.

The Canada Day Strawberry Social festival is one of the largest fundraisers for the museums. The festival, which takes place at Burlington's waterfront and joins onto other City of Burlington Canada Day celebrations, is an event that includes a range of community involvement and special performances.
