Regular Museum Hours

The Museum will be closed Tues. May 22nd.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Please join us at Joseph Brant Museum for the 70th Anniversary Celebrations.

Sunday: 1:00pm-4:30pm

Last tour leaves at 4:00 pm

Accessibility
Oakridge Interpretive Centre at Ireland House at Oakridge Farm is wheelchair accessible including the washrooms. Ireland House itself is not wheelchair accessible.

Directions to Ireland House Museum

Please Note:  There is no middle turning lane on Guelph Line to enter the museum driveway.  Please give adequate turn signal to vehicles behind you.

 

From Toronto area

1.  Take Gardiner Expressway W. toward QEW.

2.  Gardiner Expressway W. becomes QEW.  Take the QEW west to Burlington and exit at Guelph Line (exit 102). 

3.  Turn right (north) onto Guelph Line.  Continue north, crossing Upper Middle Road. 

4.  At the next set of lights after Upper Middle Road (Mountain Grove Avenue on the left and Pinemeadow Drive on the right), past the Pizza Pizza plaza, is the museum entrance on the left-hand side of Guelph Line.  Turn left up the driveway.

 

Opposite the driveway (right hand side), there is a blue directional sign stating “Ireland House Museum”.  The driveway is lined with stone walls.  Parking is available past the gates.

 

From Guelph area

1.  Take Hwy #6 south to Dundas Street (Hwy #5). 

2.  Turn left (east) onto Dundas Street.  Travel east through Waterdown; past Kern’s Road and Brant Street in Burlington until you reach Guelph Line.

3.  Turn right (south) onto Guelph Line.  Continue travelling south. 

4.  At the 2nd set of lights south of Dundas Street, Ireland Drive begins on the right-hand side.  Please stay on Guelph Line.  The next driveway on the right-hand side after this set of lights is the museum entrance. 

 

Just before the driveway is a blue directional sign stating “Ireland House Museum”.  The driveway is lined with stone walls.  Parking is available past the gates. 

 

From Niagara area

1.  Take QEW Toronto to Burlington and exit at Guelph Line (exit 102).

2.  Turn left (north) onto Guelph Line.  Continue north, crossing Upper Middle Road.
